ATOMIC Vital Park, Altenmarkt-Zauchensee
This is a place where two sets of dreams come true - amid the magical valley setting of Altenmarkt or high up in the mountains around Zauchensee.
In the ATOMIC Vital Park, two very contrasting hiking worlds coexist close to each other.
The charming village of Altenmarkt (elev. 842 m), nestled in a broad, open valley basin, with forested ridgelines and easily hiked mountains, all flanked by imposing alpine scenery, and the mountain village of Zauchensee (1,350 m), surrounded by alpine peaks plucked from the pages of a picture book.
These two worlds await with hiking routes at all elevations, generally of intermediate difficulty and rich in contrasts: the kinder,  gentler ones from Altenmarkt and the challenging ones from Zauchensee.

A total of 33 hiking routes extending out for some 200 km into the countryside surrounding the Lacken- and Strimskogel, at elevations ranging from 842 to 2,344 m, are the core of the one-of-a-kind ATOMIC Vital Park.
