How to get to Zauchensee
You arrive easily via the highway “Tauernautobahn” (in 45 minutes from Salzburg). From Altenmarkt the road winds its way upwards for 10 kilometers to Zauchensee. When you arrive at the high valley you see before you the picturesque lake of the same name, surrounded by the mountains which rise up to 2,344 meters into the sky. Summer holidays in Zauchensee
Discover the magic of beautiful Salburger Land. In summer (from June to September) Zauchensee is transformed into the Magic Mountains Club Village, becoming a paradise for everyone who enjoys sunshine, mountains and lakes. Here the trails are short: You don’t need a car as all the sports and leisure activities are only up to 200 meters away, as the crow flies.
From the hotel direct to the ski slopes
Just a few steps away from the hotel you are at the heart of the ski region amadé, the largest ski region of Austria with around 860 kilometers of ski pistes.
